Custom Web Development Company

Web development

Websites and web apps that load fast and get found

A website has two audiences people forget about. One is the person who’s just landed on it from a phone with a single bar of signal. The other is the crawler quietly deciding whether anyone else will ever see it. We build for both from the very first commit, not with a tidy-up pass at the end and a bit of hope.

That means we don’t pick the stack until we’ve read the brief. A ten-page company site has no business carrying a JavaScript framework and a headless CMS. A customer portal with roles, invoices and a dashboard needs something sturdier than a drag-and-drop builder. We work mostly in Laravel, Next.js and Vue, and if a simpler, cheaper option actually suits you better, we’ll say so rather than pad the invoice.

Technical SEO is baked into the build, not sold back to you later: clean URLs, sitemaps, canonical tags, structured data, sensible headings, images that aren’t three times too big. You shouldn’t have to hire someone else afterwards to fix the things we should have got right the first time.

Capabilities

What we build

Company and marketing sites

Fast, easy to edit, and built around what a visitor actually needs to know before they’ll get in touch.

Web applications

Dashboards, customer portals, booking systems, internal tools: anything with logins, roles and real data behind it.

Admin panels and custom CMS

An editing area shaped around how your team actually works, so a tiny copy change stops turning into a support ticket.

Integrations and APIs

Payments, CRMs, ERPs, email platforms, and the one ageing system that still only speaks CSV.

Redesigns and migrations

Moving a site without tanking your rankings means mapping every old URL, redirecting it properly, and watching Search Console like a hawk for weeks afterwards.

Speed and technical SEO fixes

Audits and repairs for sites that are slow, tangled, or quietly invisible to Google.

How it works

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Brief and scoping

We agree what the site has to do, who it’s for, and, just as usefully, what’s out of scope. You get a written plan with a fixed price or a clear estimate, nothing vague.

  2. 02

    Structure before visuals

Page structure and wireframes come first. It’s far cheaper to shove a box around on a sketch than to move it once it’s real, working code.

  3. 03

    Build in weekly steps

You get a link to a working staging site every week to click through, instead of holding your breath for one big reveal at the end.

  4. 04

    Test, launch, hand over

We test on real phones and browsers, wire up redirects and analytics, launch, then walk your team through the admin area until it’s second nature.

When a custom build isn’t the answer

  • You need something live this week. A site-builder template will get you there faster and cheaper; build it properly later, once it’s earning its keep.
  • You don’t yet know what you’re selling. Sort the offer out first; the prettiest site in the world can’t rescue a muddled one.
  • You want us to write forty pages of content with nothing from your side. We can shape and polish it, but the substance has to come from the people who actually know the business.
FAQ

Questions people ask us

How much does a custom website cost?

It depends entirely on what the thing has to do: a simple company site and a web app with logins, roles and integrations are worlds apart. Rather than throw a number at you here that turns out wrong, we have a short scoping call and then send a written quote, spelling out exactly what would push it up or down. The pricing itself we sort out with you directly.

How long will it take?

Most company sites take four to eight weeks, and honestly a big chunk of that is us waiting on content and feedback from your side. Web apps usually run three to six months, delivered in stages so you can start using parts of it before the whole thing’s finished.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. We set up an admin area for the bits you’ll change often (pages, blog posts, team members, prices) and show you how to use it, so you’re not back on email asking us to move a comma.

Do you handle SEO as well?

The technical side is built in from the start: structure, speed, metadata, schema, sitemaps. Ongoing content and link-building is a separate job, which we also do through our digital marketing service.

Can you rebuild my site without losing rankings?

That’s always the aim, and it’s a process rather than a promise anyone honest will make. We crawl the old site, map every URL to its new home, keep the pages that actually earn traffic, and watch Search Console closely after launch. A bit of wobble in the first few weeks is normal and usually settles.

Who owns the code?

You do, entirely. The repository sits in your account, the hosting’s in your name, and we hand over the documentation another developer would need to pick it up and carry on without us.
